In World of Warcraft: Forever, the Pack Kodo will appear for the Alliance for the first time in Classic history — a reward from the trade faction at zero cost. Kodo mounts used to be Horde-only.

In World of Warcraft: Forever, the Alliance will be able to ride a kodo for the first time in the entire history of Classic: the Pack Kodo reins are among the rewards of the Alliance trade faction. Until now, both in the original game and in its Classic relaunches, kodos were Horde-only.

According to preliminary data, the reins cost 0 Trade Commitments — meaning you can get them simply by reaching the required reputation level with the faction. There is no hidden price inside the reputation currency itself. The faction is mentioned in materials as the "Azeroth Trade Authority."

• If you play Alliance — a free "exotic" mount for the collection, one that was previously faction-locked.
• If you play Horde — nothing changes: your kodos stay with you, this announcement brings no new Horde mount.
• The kodo appearing for Alliance signals that in Forever Blizzard is deliberately reshuffling the old-school faction "exclusives."
