A new dungeon, the Excavation Site, in Wetlands for levels 24–29 is now available in the World of Warcraft: Forever beta this week, while a second dungeon, the City of Dalaran, is not opening in the beta yet.

This week, the World of Warcraft: Forever beta added a new dungeon — the Excavation Site in the Wetlands, for levels 24–29. At the same time, the City of Dalaran dungeon isn't opening in the beta yet: it has been pushed to one of the upcoming updates.

The announcement was made by Josh Greenfield in an official post on Bluesky. With the level cap in the beta raised to 30, players have gained access to one new location — a dungeon in the Wetlands. The second promised dungeon won't arrive this week: the City of Dalaran will show up in one of the beta's upcoming updates.

What beta participants need to know:

— The dungeon is tuned for levels 24–29 — a newly opened range after the cap went up to 30. — It takes place in the Wetlands, a coastal zone between Loch Modan and Hillsbrad Foothills. — Blizzard hasn't cancelled the City of Dalaran — it has delayed it: expect it in one of the beta's upcoming patches before the beta closes on 21 October 2026.
