On 1 October 2026 at 18:31 UTC, Blizzard rolled out a 2.37 GB client patch to the World of Warcraft: Forever beta. There are three weeks left until testing ends.

The blue post appeared in the 'WoW: Forever General Discussion' section on Blizzard's official forum. The message author is GTHANG; the text is two lines long: 'You can download it now. See you on the other side.' There is no substantive content in the post: no list of changes, no description of mechanics — only confirmation that the update is already rolling out from the servers.

In practice

• Restart the beta client — the update will pull in automatically.
• If the client didn't offer the patch on its own, check the install path and free disk space: 2.37 GB is a noticeable amount, your drive should have room to spare.
