Enhancement Shaman in Forever Gets Its Own Video: Two-Handed Weapon and New Talents

01.10.2026

Blizzard released a short standalone video about the Enhancement Shaman in World of Warcraft: Forever — after the spec was left out of the broader class overview covering Shamans, Warriors, and Rogues.

What happened

The general class changes video covered every Shaman, Warrior, and Rogue specialization except Enhancement. In the video comments, Blizzard noted that Enhancement Shamans had been "too busy communing with the natural elements" and promised a separate release. It went live the next day.

What the video showed

The change concerns weapons: the Enhancement Shaman in Forever wields a two-handed weapon only.

The video highlighted several key talents and abilities:

  • Bloodlust — an ability with a three-minute cooldown that increases attack speed.
  • The Maelstrom Weapon talent reduces the cast time and mana cost of Lightning Bolt.
  • The passive Mental Acuity increases spell damage and healing based on intellect.
  • The specialization grants the group Windfury Totem.
