What's new

Professions have been reworked in Forever: over 600 new recipes have appeared, and five professions get a specialization choice. The purpose of professions is different now — they're no longer an add-on to leveling, but a reason to gather together.

The main change for players: cooked food now grants an XP bonus for killing mobs on top of regular stats. The effect lasts 15 minutes and stacks with the Cozy Sleeping Bag (3%), together — up to 8%.

The main problem — uptime

According to one tester, the buff is active for only about a quarter of playtime — reagents don't drop fast enough.

A trinket has been found in the beta files that appears to be Blizzard's answer to this problem. The files don't yet show which specific dishes grant the bonus.
