The video opens nothing new: it's a tidy recap of what the team has already shared since the September 12, 2026 announcement, packaged into one short clip for those who don't want to dig through forums.

What's in the video

• Forever is its own game, not a replacement for Classic or the modern version. Blizzard is clear: this is a sibling branch, not "another season" of an existing game. So if you're playing Classic or retail right now, nothing changes for you.
• The focus is the journey to max level. Leveling becomes the main content: along the way players get discoveries, adventures, and account-wide rewards — what one character completes benefits the others.
• The idea grew out of Season of Discovery. Forever borrows from the season that feeling of "there's something new to find in a familiar world" and pushes further: new dungeons, quests, zones, raids, and recipes.
• Two key zones — Ashenvale and Mount Hyjal. Mount Hyjal is the finale of the leveling journey: both raids sit there, alongside a mixed Horde–Alliance camp, trapped together and forced to keep an uneasy peace.
• The new Skyborne race and six new race-class combinations: Dwarf Shaman, Gnome Priest, Human Hunter, Orc Mage, Troll Warlock, and Undead Paladin.
