The base game is included with a regular World of Warcraft subscription or paid through Game Time. In addition to the subscription, the Battle.net Shop offers three digital editions with bonuses — Skyborne Heroic Pack, Skyborne Epic Pack, and the limited Warcraft Forever Collection. The physical collector's set is sold through the Blizzard Gear Store while supplies last.

What's included in the editions

All three editions unlock the new playable Skyborne race and the starting zone Zephras Isle, give early name reservation and the ground mount Cerulean Prideclaw. To use the mount you'll need to learn the riding skill separately in-game — this rule works just like in classic WoW versions.

The Heroic Pack is the base bonus bundle: cosmetics, housing items, and one Invite-A-Friend Launch Code. The Epic Pack expands the Heroic with extra cosmetic items, pets, cloaks, and also includes access to the open Forever beta (started September 17, 2026) and 30 days of Game Time granted from launch. Instead of one Invite-A-Friend code, you get three. Warcraft Forever Collection is the broadest edition: everything from Epic Pack plus Warcraft III: Reforged with the "Forsaken Kingdom" campaign and a set of Undead and Human figures for the housing system in the modern version of World of Warcraft.

What was shown at BlizzCon

The launch and editions continue the themes Blizzard revealed at BlizzCon on September 12, 2026. On the "What's Next" panel, senior game director Ion Hazzikostas, lead classic designer Tim Jones, lead engineer Nora Mills, and producer Clay Stone talked about new zones, dungeons, raids, and the Skyborne race. On "Deep Dive," Clay Stone together with designers Josh Greenfield, Kris Zierhut, and engineer Ana Resendez revealed the approach to a living reimagined Azeroth. "Found Photos" was a panel about hidden corners of the original map that will become the starting point for new adventures.
