On the Blizzard forum, a player asks whether Horde character creation will be limited at the Forever launch

On Blizzard's official Russian-language forum, in a thread about faction balance, a player suggested that on the November 4 release, character creation for the Horde might be restricted — as was done during the beta. The thread has so far gathered two posts from two participants, with no Blizzard response.

Forever launches on November 4, 2026 at 23:00 UTC (05.11 02:00 MSK), and one of the practical questions for that day is faction balance. On Blizzard's official Russian-language forum, in the «Forever Faction Balance» thread, a player pointed out that during the beta, in their words, Horde character creation was closed off for a while. They speculated that a similar restriction could be enabled on November 4 as well, and asked whether this was being prepared for launch. They tied their observation to the impression that most players on the single server prefer the Horde.

The author also shared thoughts on two related points: they called the €30 purchase of the Skyborne race a silly idea and said they had no plans to buy it, and they considered the expanded nickname reservation access through the Heroic Edition unattractive because characters already have a second name. This is one author's personal opinion, not Blizzard's stance.

The thread currently has two posts from two participants; there are no other sources on the matter, and Blizzard has not responded in the discussion. No actual restriction on Horde character creation at launch has been announced.
