Holy Paladin in Forever beta receives the Improved Seals talent

28.09.2026

A passive talent called Improved Seals has been found in the Holy Paladin tree on the Forever test servers. It increases damage from seals and Judgements by 5/10/15%. In parallel, a player on the forum pointed out that Seal of Fury hits only one target and asked for crowd control tools to be returned.

In build 1.60.1 of the World of Warcraft: Forever beta, the Holy Paladin tree received a passive talent called Improved Seals. It sits in the second tier of the tree, has three ranks, and a single purpose: to boost damage from seals and Judgements by 5%, 10%, and 15% respectively.

The ability is marked as Forever-only, meaning it doesn't exist in any previous version of the game in this form. At the same time, the talent's wiki page clearly states that it reuses the internal ID of the classic talent Improved Seal of Righteousness.

The talent was spotted thanks to a new wiki page on the project. Until then, Improved Seals had not been officially announced — this is a community find, not a Blizzard reveal.

Forum context

On September 28, on the official English forum, one player drew attention to a different seal — Seal of Fury. According to their observations, in the current beta build it only works on a single target, while paladins lack tools to control groups of mobs. The player asked for the return of a mechanic like the classic Righteous Defense or an analogue. It's a single post, with no developer reply and no signs of a wider discussion.

In practice

  • Improved Seals is a passive damage bonus to seals and Judgements: at max rank it's +15%. If you're already playing a Holy Paladin in the beta, take a look at the second tier of the tree.
  • The talent is marked as Forever-only and so far is confirmed by one source only — the project wiki.
  • Blizzard has not commented on Seal of Fury or on mob control; the single player's complaint went unanswered.
