Paladin tanks can't hold threat: player asks to raise Righteous Fury bonus

On September 29, a thread appeared on the official Forever forum from a paladin tank player: after the latest patch, the threat bonus on Righteous Fury was reduced from 90% to 60% on all holy magic damage. In his words, 90% felt excessive, but 60% is too low.
The author plays a paladin tank at level 20 in the best gear available, additionally throwing a Heavy Dynamite. According to his tests, at the current numbers, DPS — especially in good gear — easily pulls threat off him. A poorly geared Enhancement shaman, whom he specifically compared against, consistently stole aggro: he could only recover it with Taunt, and as soon as its effect wore off, the mob went back to the shaman — despite the paladin opening the fight.
The player suggests a value around 70–75% as a balance between the old 90% and the current 60%. The thread has two participants and two posts at the time of publication — Blizzard hasn't responded yet.
