In World of Warcraft: Forever, professions have received three small but handy improvements: you can track the materials you need for crafting right in the profession window, share your recipe book in chat, and quickly find what you need through filters.

Recipe Tracking

In the profession window, next to the 'Create All' button, a new checkbox has appeared. If you enable it, the list of reagents needed for crafting shows up on the right side of the screen — like a quest tracker. This helps you keep the recipe and its components in mind while you're buying components at the auction house or gathering them in the open world.

Profession Book Link in Chat

To the right of the skill panel sits a small chat bubble icon. Clicking it opens a menu where you pick a chat channel — and a link to your profession book gets sent there. Other players can click the link to see your profession level and the list of available recipes. A handy way to quickly show what you can craft, or to find a crafter with a rare recipe.

Recipe Filters

Forever added more than 600 new recipes, and without filters it's easy to drown in the list. The developers have added four ways to find what you need quickly:

• Has skill up — show only items that grant skill points.
• Have materials — only items you can craft right now from what's in your bags.
• Slots — filter by equipment slot: trinkets, accessories, and so on.
• Search Bar — search by name.

• The recipe tracker takes away a familiar headache: open the profession window and immediately see what you need and how much. Useful when you're farming in the open world or buying materials at the auction house.
• The book link is convenient to drop in guild or trade chat when you're looking for a rare crafter or offering your services.
• Filters come in especially handy during the first weeks, while the book is filling up with new recipes: with a couple of clicks you can sort out only what you can actually craft from your current stock.
