Data miners dug into the World of Warcraft: Forever beta client and uncovered two reward tracks — fourteen Honor ranks and four 'Ancient Rewards' tiers. The twist: the elite PvP set no longer drops as a single bundle at the final rank like in vanilla Classic. Instead, it's split across ranks 8 through 13. The top reward — rank 14 — is its own thing: instead of armor, it unlocks a weapon arsenal.

What the beta client revealed:

• Fourteen Honor ranks instead of the usual thirteen. Progression runs on accumulated points, with each new rank opening its own reward tier.
• Elite armor is spread across six tiers — ranks 8 through 13. You literally assemble the set piece by piece over several weeks of PvP.
• Rank 14 opens a weapon choice instead of armor — an arsenal, similar to how the best PvP blades were handed out at the top ranks in vanilla Classic.
• A parallel 'Ancient Rewards' track — four tiers, separate from the Honor ranks. It runs on its own currency, and at 55 points you get a mount — a spectral bear.

Why this design: at ranks 8–13 you constantly receive a tangible piece of gear rather than just a number ticking up in a window. Building the set stretches across half a season, with visible progress every week. The top-rank reward is separated out and doesn't compete with the armor — some players care more about the look and set bonuses of elite gear, others about the weapon.

Note: the data comes from a beta client dump published by a single source. Blizzard may still change the number of ranks and the reward order before release, but the reward tracks and item tables are already in the code.
