Ragefire Chasm in Forever: Orgrimmar's First Dungeon
30.09.2026A level 13–18 dungeon in the heart of Orgrimmar: how to get in, which quests to grab beforehand, and what to expect from each of the four bosses.
Ragefire Chasm is the first dungeon that most Horde players step into in World of Warcraft: Forever. Recommended level is 13–18; thanks to a short run and simple mechanics, it's widely considered the easiest dungeon in the game.
Where it is. The entrance sits in the Cleft of Shadow inside Orgrimmar, next to Neeru Fireblade. Alliance has a much harder time getting there — a boat to Ratchet, through the lightly patrolled western entrance to Orgrimmar, then a long corpse-run to the Cleft of Shadow. The trip is extremely risky.
The story. A Burning Blade cult — followers of the Shadow Council — has settled in beneath Orgrimmar. Rumor has it that Thrall knows about the cult and is deliberately leaving it alone, hoping it will lead him straight to the Shadow Council.
Quests. All five are Horde-only. Four of them — Slaying the Beast, Searching for the Lost Satchel, Testing an Enemy's Strength, and The Power to Destroy... — unlock at level 9; the Hidden Enemies chain only opens at level 13.
- Hidden Enemies — a five-part chain starting with Thrall in the Valley of Wisdom. You need to collect a Lieutenant's Insignia from Burning Blade agents near Skull Rock, talk to Neeru Fireblade in the Cleft of Shadow, then kill Bazzalan and Jergosh the Invoker inside the dungeon. Reward: your pick of Orgrimmar weapon — Kris, Hammer, Axe, or Staff.
- Slaying the Beast — from Neeru Fireblade; you need to retrieve the heart of Taragaman the Hungerer.
- Searching for the Lost Satchel — a two-part quest from Rahauro on Elder Rise in Thunder Bluff. Goal: find Maur Grimtotem in a small cave to the right of the first trogg room.
- Testing an Enemy's Strength — from the same Rahauro. You need to kill 8 Ragefire Trogg and 8 Ragefire Shaman; they're scattered through the first large room and its adjoining corridors.
- The Power to Destroy... — from Varimathras in the Undercity. Two tomes off Searing Blade Cultists and Warlocks in the second half of the dungeon.
Bosses. The dungeon has four encounters.
- Oggleflint stands with two troggs. Crowd-control one, focus the second down, then the boss — he has Cleave.
- Taragaman the Hungerer — in the middle of a lava platform. The tank should keep him away from the edge, or Uppercut will knock people into the lava. Mages — keep maximum distance; Fire Nova is AoE.
- Jergosh the Invoker — last room. Casts Immolate and Curse of Weakness; bringing a mage to crowd-control one of the two adds is recommended.
- Bazzalan — to the right, just before the final boss's room. One of his adds stands apart and can be pulled without Bazzalan himself — which makes the fight much easier. He hits hard; bring a solid healer.
