Shaman no longer needs a talent for two-handed weapons: wielded from the start

16.09.2026

In Forever, the shaman gains two-handed weapons without a dedicated talent — the ability is built into the class by default.

In original Classic, two-handed axes and maces were gated behind a talent — without it the shaman couldn't wield such weapons. Forever removes that restriction.

Two-handed weapons are now available from the start, and the separate talent to learn them is no longer needed. This changes the levelling path and available builds: there's no more reason to sacrifice points in the weapon branch to unlock two-handers.

Two talents have been removed from the tree — «Masterful Weapon Handling» and «Parry» — both previously part of the weapon branch and now obsolete. According to preliminary data, there is a discrepancy in one of the published talent lists — the final state of the trees is worth verifying once the beta goes live.
