Blizzard has launched the official World of Warcraft: Forever podcast; the first episode focuses on the ongoing beta, with content creator Xaryu as the guest.

Blizzard has launched an official podcast for World of Warcraft: Forever. The first episode is titled "Unpacking Beta Launch" and covers what's happening in the freshly launched beta. The guest is content creator Xaryu, one of the streamers who has been part of the Forever community since the early days of the announcement.

What we know from community manager Kaivax's blue post:

- Format. A video episode published on Blizzard's YouTube channel. The link to the video is attached to the forum thread. - Topic. "Unpacking Beta Launch" — i.e., a breakdown of the beta's launch: what players saw, their impressions, and what's being discussed in the community. Blizzard hasn't published a detailed recap of the conversation. - Guest. Xaryu — a streamer and video creator for World of Warcraft who actively covered Forever's announcement at BlizzCon on September 12, 2026, and the subsequent waves. - Release date. Kaivax's blue post on the Blizzard forums is dated September 24, 2026, 7:00 AM — i.e., one week after the public beta opened (09/17).

The podcast appeared during the active phase of the beta, which runs from September 17 to October 21, 2026, with the global release scheduled for November 4, 2026 at 23:00 UTC. So the first episode is meant to accompany players during testing, not as a pre-release announcement.
